Mobile Web Roundup

Mobile web trends and design have been high on my radar over the past few weeks.  Several days ago, I retweeted a message from Brian Herzog, the Swiss Army Librarian, who was attending Mobile Camp Boston.  Then Brien Muller sent me a direct message about designing for the mobile web. While I’m by no means an expert (on either mobile or traditional web design) I do have an interest.  And, as it happens, the web committee at my library has been pondering mobile web presence/services and has recently formed a task force to come up with some recommendations for a rollout in the near future.

So, all that said, here are some resources around web and mobile web design and services that I’ve pulled together from my contacts, meeting notes, and casual research.

Mobile Web Resources

Library Web Sites

Training Opportunities

These are just a smattering of resources that I’ve accumulated over the past few weeks. Please post your own links in the comments.

Check out A List Apart’s article Pocket-Sized Design: Taking Your Website to the Small Screen. They are an excellent reference for all things web.
